Operations Research Analyst:

  • Analyze information obtained from management in order to conceptualize and define operational systems and problems into international logistic operations.
  • Break systems into their component parts, examine and assign each component and apply to method.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and decision-makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
  • Define data requirements then gather and validate information applying judgment and statistical tests. Observe the current freight and custom transportation and logistics systems in operation.
  • Test procedures obtained to ensure adequacy and reformulate as necessary. Study international and target nation criteria and nuances that might affect prices or delivery times.
  • Determine which procedure will offer best outcome and prepare management reports defining and evaluating problems and provide solution reports.
  • Will work with others in the company to ensure successful implementation to choose most effective for the problem.
  • Develop and apply time and cost networks in order to plan, control and review projects. Master's Degree required.

  • Experience with domestic air and ground shipping . Tracking, routing, quoting.

  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Respond to telephone and email requests for service – pickups, quotes, tracking, and problem solving.
  • Tracking /tracing /follow-up: verifies and updates shipment information into the computer system.
  • Investigates shipping issues and identifies solutions.
  • Follow up with both internal and external customers.
  • Quotes to maximize profit and meet service expectations. 
  • Prepares paperwork for routing, closes out files and sends documents out on timely basis.
  • Communicates pick-ups requested by customers to dispatch.
  • Inform customers of freight departures, arrivals, and proof of deliveries.


  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of freight movement and basic dock procedures.
  • Knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Skill to use a personal computer and various software packages.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  • Ability to identify, report, and execute on recurring problems.
  • Must be able to multitask and work under pressure.

Credentials and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years previous  industry related experience

Special Requirements :

  • Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by  Manager.

Business Development Representative (Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage, Warehousing & Trucking)

Job Description

  • This is a general freight forwarding sales, inside & outside selling position.
  • The focus is to be on general new account development within West Coast office.
  • Targeted trade / product development is as per discussion with the Region Sales Mgr and local management


  • Sales solicitation of prospective "A", "B", and "C" level customers in primary markets.
  • Further development and maintenance of existing customers
  • Input and update of sales activities utilizing MS Office software's
  • Perform all aspects of the sales process where applicable.
  • Responsible to know the decision and organizational layer of the customers and marries them with Management.
  • Act as the single point for the selling of all our services and solutions across all Pegasus business fields.
  • Conduct mutually agreed upon, between customer and TTC, customer Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Reports in agreed intervals the development of the market, working, and buying platforms to regional management on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain close communication with customer and TTC's operations to assure uniform understanding of customer expectations relative to operational solutions, timeline, costs and results.
  • Direct operational issues to the correct operational owner.
  • Unless otherwise stated in this document, this position adheres to all policies listed in TTC Sales Guidelines.

KPI's and Reporting

  • KPI's on sales calls visits required as per the sales guidelines
  • SVC's will be set in dialog with the sales candidate directly and be appropriate to the individuals industry experience and BO / Region annual business development goals and objectives.
  • Emphasis on Trans-Atlantic & Trans-Pacific Business Development

Skills & Experience

  • Requires a minimum of 2 years sales field experience.
  • Solid PC operational knowledge along with Microsoft Office applications experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
