The movement of cargo into and out of the Persian Gulf (also known
locally as the Arabian Gulf) presents a number of challenges above and beyond
those normally present in international transportation, and shipping between
the US and Iran faces even more obstacles on top of that...not the least of
which are the significant US restrictions on trade with Iran (see below).
TTC can provide you with the experience you need to ensure the smooth arrival
and delivery of your goods in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain,
Qatar, Oman, and Kuwait - from drilling equipment to computer equipment, and
everything in between.
With our partners in Dubai, TTC can even provide you with door-to-door transportation, customs clearance,
and delivery for cargo originating in the Gulf, such as those from the region's
rapidly growing garments and textile industry.
In Iran, TTC can assist both importers and exporters who have begun to explore
the slight relaxation of the trade embargo imposed upon this country by the US
government. Through close co-operation with our Cargo Agent in Iran, and their offices in both Tehran and Bandar Abbas, TTC can provide efficient,
reliable transport services both into and out of Iran.
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING SHIPMENTS TO OR FROM IRAN!!
The government of the United States currently has legislation in
place that severely restricts the types of goods that can be sent
to Iran from the US, or imported to the US from Iran. Additionally, all
such shipments must be approved by the appropriate branches of the US
government. For further information on the types of goods that are
allowable, and the steps required to obtain permission to ship these goods
between the US and Iran, please refer to the guidelines posted by both the
Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the
Bureau of Export Administration.
